Today is the ninth day of 28 days of daily paintings that will drop first thing each morning. Each day, I’ll tell a little bit about my story as an artist and how it makes me who I am. I hope in sharing these little pieces of my heart, you will know how much painting means to me.

After my pop-up show, my Instagram account had reached 300! I felt like the possibilities were endless. I began painting daily and selling a lot of my works on daily paint works. I included my kids in a lot of what I did while we continued to homeschool. I would get up early, get some housework done before the kids woke up, read my Bible, do school with the kids, and take care of a lot of household chores. I would always look forward to my one hour of painting in the afternoon before I needed to make dinner. It became my time to collect my thoughts. It began making me a better mother to my children.
