Day 13 of “My Heart”

Today is the thirteenth day of 28 days of daily paintings that will drop first thing each morning. Each day, I’ll tell a little bit about my story as an artist and how it makes me who I am. I hope in sharing these little pieces of my heart, you will know how much painting means to me.

What was next? I decided that I needed have marketing pictures made, and they were fabulous! (Thanks Laura Stiller. 🥰🥰🥰) She took creative images of me with my work to use on my website. I was promoting a new collection and wanted to appear more professional. The new collection was called “Come Home.” This is where I truly started to find my style and my voice. It felt like I was coming into my own as an artist. My color palette grew and my confidence grew with it. Sure, there were setbacks. But the more I held a brush, the more I became sure that this was what I was meant to do.
