Today is the twenty-first day of 28 days of daily paintings that will drop first thing each morning. Each day, I’ll tell a little bit about my story as an artist and how it makes me who I am. I hope in sharing these little pieces of my heart, you will know how much painting means to me.

Life keeps moving. I turned forty. Next, I started a new project with my littlest boys. They did the underpainting, and I painted landscapes onto the top. I had done this once before during the beginning of the pandemic when I had just started working in collections. This one gave my brain a break and was a perfect summer project. Sometimes it’s nice to pick a project that feels easy and short. If you have kids (or nieces, nephews, or grandkids), I highly suggest trying this. It brought me so much joy!
