Today is the twenty-third day of 28 days of daily paintings that will drop first thing each morning. Each day, I’ll tell a little bit about my story as an artist and how it makes me who I am. I hope in sharing these little pieces of my heart, you will know how much painting means to me.
When I tell you that I’m a Texas Rangers fan, I feel like that doesn’t quite convey the sheer joy I get out of watching baseball. I know the players, I know a lot of the stats, and I’m extremely well versed in the game. So when the @rangers won the World Series in 2023, it filled me with a joy I can’t describe. When my heart is full of joy, it overflows into my artwork. So even though that year had been difficult and filled with all kinds of hard things, joy overshadowed the hard.
